I've recently finished reading Gilbert's 'Passion Is A Fashion', and I have to agree with Jim. It's a great piece of work, and at this point should be considered the definitive book on the Clash. The bits about their on-again, off-again relationship with Bernie Rhodes was particularly enjoyable. Very insightful.

What I've always loved about Supergrass (and has been echoed a bit in previous posts) is the fact while Oasis, Blur, et al were battling it out for Brit Pop suprmecy, and in the process hitting some serious peaks and valleys, Supergrass slowly but surely became one of the better bands of the last 15 years. Great live band, to boot. So I'm sure I'll give Road to Rouen the benefit of the doubt and pick it up.
