This mix-up of band name and title is very common, mainly because of the way
they're laid out on the cover: "Elephant Candy-The Fun And Games". In fact,
I found my copy of the CD at Amoeba Records under "E" (it was also in the
"rock" section rather than in "oldies", but that's another story...).
Anyway, I will add my concurrence that it's a great album, and it's maybe
the only '60s album that so defly combines soft pop with out-and-out
bubblegum. The CD has some groovy bonus tracks, too. My only gripe is that
the powers that be at Rev-ola decided to flip-flop tracks 1 & 2 of the
original LP, now leading off with the hit, "The Grooviest Girl In The
World". Yeah, I know it's not a really big deal and I know that CD players
have program buttons, but it always irks me when the integrity of an album
is messed with. This notwithstanding, it's definitely an album that every
'60s pop fan must have.
