Yeah, but I don't see that as the issue here.  The songs are great, the Beatles were awesome...but SO IS PAUL McCARTNEY.  And while I can't imagine anyone begrudges Paul the right to play Beatles songs...even half a show's worth of Beatles songs...it's gotten to the point where he's just barely dipping a toe into his solo career.  

Look, for example, at Morrissey.  He sprinkles his set with Smiths songs, plays songs from his latest album, and then the rest of the set involves a mixture of A sides, B sides, and album tracks from throughout his solo career.  It keeps all of his fans, casual and diehard, happy.

Pulling out a Beatles song he's never played live before is great...but how about a solo song you haven't played live before, too?
