I'll ask Doug if he has any. I need an excuse to call him up and see
how he's doing.
The Gladhands website shut down about a year ago. As I designed it, I
may still have all the files somewhere on some antiquated media like
a zip drive or a (gasp!) floppy. I did kinda want to throw it up
somewhere as a tribute site.
Doug supposedly has been working on a solo disc of his own. He bought
an 8-track analog machine, but I have only heard stuff done at
another studio in 2001 and 2002.
He did play on the soon-to-be-released 2nd CD by NC popsters Velvet
which was recorded at Mitch Easter's rad palace of sound, the
Fidelitorium. He left Velvet a while back, but his legacy remains on
this CD which is called Juuggernaut. More info at:
http://www.velvetpop.com and http://www.justplainluckyrecords.com.
Doug co-wrote a few songs with me on that appear on the 1st
Stratocruiser CD and he plays drums on our "internet single" Mercury
Mission.
He is working at UNC and has a lovely wife and two wee little youngsters.
Later,
Myke
