From the EricCarmen.com website:

"Here's the news West Coast fans have been waiting for! After two
critically-acclaimed back-to-back SRO shows in New York City, Raspberries are coming
to California. The band has officially announced a show at the _HOUSE OF BLUES
_ (http://www.hob.com/) in Los Angeles on Friday, October 21 and at the _4TH
& B_ (http://www.4thandb.com/) Theater in San Diego on Saturday, October 22.
Tickets for both shows are _ON SALE_
(http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/09003B0F7BDF84AF?artistid=949892&majorcatid=10001&minorcatid=1) now."

Be forewarned, this isn't any sort of lame nostalgia act - this is the
original foursome (Eric Carmen, Dave Smalley, Wally Bryson and Jim Bonfanti) back
and - believe it or not - better than ever! I've talked to folks who
attended the NYC shows in July, and the general consensus is that the 'Berries blew
the roof off the joint.

And did anyone see the recent VH-1 Classic "Hangin' With the Raspberries"
special? They did a slowed down, "unplugged" version of "I Wanna Be With You"
that sent chills down my spine. Seriously, you don't want to miss them when
they come to L.A./S.D. Power pop at its finest!
