Hi,
I don't think anyone has mentioned this at Audities, so far, but singers Fats Domino and Alex Chilton are both in New Orleans, and both haven't been heard from for a good while.
Fats Domino, his wife, and his daughter chose to stay in N.O. during the hurricane, and haven't been heard from since the storm.
Alex Chilton survived the initial hurricane at his home, and talked to someone by phone on Monday before all of the phones in N.O. went out. But people are worried about him now because he lives in one of the neighborhoods that had the severe flooding because the levee broke, after the hurricane passed through. Water got really high, and emergency workers say that they're probably going to find people who drown in the attic of their own houses because there was nowhere higher to climb.
I hope that both of them end up being alright, but it's discouraging that they haven't been heard from in a while.
