Love the stories...

The dumbest guilty pleasure has gotta be Peobo Bryson's "Never Wanna Let Ya Go...I wanna hold you in my arms forever..."

I'll still tear up if I'm in the mood...
My 1st love wanted to end it after 3 years(that's age 17-19 to you and me) and of course I wouldn't hear it.
We kept hooking up, but she was "seeing other people" which drove me crazy cause I was allowed to but would never.
ANYway...there was one last phone call of hope/desperation that we could get back together exclusively and that damned Peobo song came into my head. We we're both thinking of and mentioned that same song as the conversation wavered back and forth between our genuine love for each other and her desire to "branch out".
Que serra.
She's married w/3 kids and miserable...except that she LOVES her kids. I still wish her the best.

I'm expecting my first child within the next couple of weeks and am happier than I've ever been.

Funny...on the day I met her the first song that the aforementioned girl and I discovered we both loved was "Hurt So Good".
Isn't it ironic?

later, joe
