Sad ALERT:
While most of the posts deal with love lost and found,
the one song association that always springs to mind deals
with something sadder. Well for me anyway.
4 of my buddies including myself had set aside a weekend
where we would spend it together. Had been a long time
since we had hung out, but this was our weekend. No
jobs, girlfriends etc.
Early early that saturday morning around 6am I got a phone
call telling me that my buddy Michael had been killed
in a car accident on his way home Friday night.
that night we all met at a place we used to go, and my
friend started playing WAITING ON A FRIEND by the stones.
To this day, while I love the song, I think of Michael.
