I believe the 5th Dimension covered some of her material (Stoned Soul
Picnic, Wedding Bell Blues, etc. - GREAT GREAT songs). These where my first
exposure to Laura Nyro.
Did Laura write that 5th D song that has the telephone ringing in the song?
I think the title is "The Girl Song" - another great song. Always loved the
odd yet catchy piano/drum rhythm in that one, reminds me of Bacharach. Migh
not be a Laura composition, though...
