She is great, and it is interesting to hear how heavily influenced those
first two Todd albums were by her. Oddly enough I find myself partial to
her Gonna Take a Miracle album, where she collaborates with Labelle. I say
oddly because she is well known as a songwriter, while this is a covers
album. But the singing is extraordinary, and damn if she doesn't hold her
own with the Labelle ladies...
