I discovered Laura by way of Todd and have been a huge fan for many years. I just finished dropping all of her CD's into my iTunes, except I'll have to do a needle drop on Nested and Mother's Spiritual...those are just too darn hard to find and very expensive on line. I saw Nested on Amazon marketplace recently going for $195. Saw Laura about a year before she died at McCabe's Guitar Shop in Santa Monica. What an amazing show. Also check out the book Soul Picnic by Michele Kort...it made me go out and buy everyone of her albums on CD that was available. Cosmic Rough Riders have a nice little song called Laura Nyro on their Pure Escapism CD. What a talent...she'll live forever on my iPod.
