Flame off ! I loved these two albums when I was 9-10 and still love them
now.
These two LP's are right when Farrell/Romero's Bubblegum meets Adult
Contemporary formula -plenty of hooks and teenage lyrics for the kids,
but production that wouldnt grate on parents ears - was at its best.
Still love all those classy sounding harpischords.

Notebook, Crossword Puzzle (proably the weakest LP of the bunch), and
Bulletin Board (which I dont think has been reissued on CD, it wasnt a
big seller - I have a very worn out copy) are hit and miss albums.
Theres interesting tracks on all of them, but the songwriting isnt as
consistant and David sounds bored on some tracks..
