Just acquired the new Rubinoos CD "Twist Pop Sin" from a Japanese
dealer...it's on Airmail Recordings, and the first run includes a bonus CD
of the band's 10 year anniversary show taken from a bootleg recording along
with some other bonus tracks.

The new album proper is all original stuff, one being a rewritten version of
"You Hit The Nerve." A couple tunes are Kyle Vincent co-writes. Nick
D'Virgilio (Spock's Beard, Tears For Fears) is again drumming & singing
backup. Gary Phillips produced - he had produced the band's original
Beserkley albums.

I would assume that copies will start showing up in the usual places soon
(right, Bruce?)...and perhaps other labels will be releasing it in other
countries (like maybe ZIP and Houston Party?). No details out yet...not
even at the Rubinoos' own website.

Listening now - sounds like POP to me!

Brioohs
