Yes, indeed, Peter and Gordon stole the Mike Smith tribute show. They had not appeared publicly in 37 years but sounded like it was 1965. I hope we won't have to wait 37 more years for their next appearance.
Ironically, I saw Chad and Jeremy perform a full set just four days previous to Peter and Gordon. I had not known this, but Chad is one heck of a guitar player. They also played some new songs, mainly with humorous lyrics. Could not fault their performance, but their material is a little light for me.
