The Posies are, in my opinion, way over-rated. They released a very good,
stripped down debut that was followed by a masterpiece (Dear 23) and the
excellent Frosting. Then what? The appropriately titled Amazing Disgrace,
and then all that other clutter at the "end" of their career (dull live
albums and Success which was better then AD but rather lifeless). They
should have come back with a killer album. Instead, another unremarkable
effort; not bad, but nothing special. I would much prefer an Orange Humble
Band comeback album!
