OK,

Time to flog this some more.

I played in a band called the Village Pistols in 1980-81. We released a
single and now it's worth a million bucks to collectors of rare US punk 45's
from the era. Well maybe not a million, but the last one I saw sold on eBay
for $500.

We had an offshoot project that never got anywhere called Kool and the Gang
of Four. Another name bandied about was The Doobie Brothers Johnson.

Other names used by other projects I was involved in that era were the
Funmducks, Pope John Paul & the Death Machine, Eerie Iran & the Hostage
Twinkies and the F-Art Ensemble of Greensboro (a take on the Art Ensemble of
Chicago).

I still like:

    Kathleen Turner Overdrive

    Mr. T. Experience

    Drunk on Cake

    The Funking Bar Stewards

    Alcohol Funny Car
