I feel a little more blessed at my good fortunes as my label doesn't depend
on Power Pop....though there is a lot of it available on Bullseye. We've
carved out a niche market of re-issues and new material by acts whose back
catalogue we control. Our business plan is soundly based on the principle
that fly-by-night musicians create fly-by-night fanbases....so we're
entrenched the catalogues of career-minded acts -- those with previous
experience will continue to make great records if given the chance. We give
them that chance. So far, so good....it has kept The Kings, Goddo, and
Honeymoon Suite alive in an era that abhors aging rock and rollers.

I'm also one who does not buy Doug Powell's reason for getting out of the
business, but I chose not to continue the conversation down that path. So, I
wouldn't say I was on Bob's side for calling you Satan....just didn't want
to go down the theological road to debating Hell.
