I just noticed from the track listing on AllMusic, that the version of
Shake Some Action is AGAIN the long "album" version. Does anyone else on
this list agree with me that the shorter "single" version is by far the
better of the two? I think it was possibly an earlier recording, but I'm
not 100% sure. It has the prominent 12-string acoustic guitar, played in
a similar way to Dave Edmunds' "Girls Talk" single. Why oh why do they
never use this version on power-pop compilations?
