Great synopsis of a largely overlooked band. The only thing I'd add
is that cane crack to Vern's head left him profoundly confused yet
certain he was Milton Berle's younger brother. Other then really
annoying Chaz (who both, never cared for Milton Berle and even worse
in his words "stinkin'liars"), it didn't impact the groups dynamic
performance. In fact, some say the added tension only fueled it.
Also, Vern was largely responsible for the single that failed to
chart "Dress me up Dolly".
Otherwise, you and Jamie nailed it.
