Hello,

Welp, after years of writing reviews of albums and shows for audities
and other internet forums, I finally did one professionally!

eMusic is doing a thing where people are writing up "eMusic Dozens" on
any number of genres, sub genres, niches, labels, etc, and our Editor
in Chief tapped me (who normally busies herself in the lowly customer
support division) to write up the eMusic Power Pop Dozen.

You can find it here:

http://www.emusic.com/lists/showlist.html?nickname=StacyMangual&lid=204150&p=1

A brief overview of the genre, and 12 of the albums that I thought
were excellent representations of the genre.

You've probably seen reviews of most if not all of those albums in
other places, but I was pretty excited about finally being published
"for reals" and wanted to share with you all. And who knows, maybe
someone missed out on one of those albums! There are links to
samples, and you don't have to be an eMusic member to read, browse, or
listen to samples. Of course, if anyone WANTS to join, I'd be pleased
as punch to show you how do to that, and I'd be an enthusiastic
supporter of the company even if I didn't work there (I was a customer
before I got the job in any event!).

Anyway, I hope you find it interesting and if you have nice things to
say about my article, I could use the self esteem boost. :) Its
pretty indimidating to be up there along with the legendary other
writers who wrote Dozens!

I'm excited to continue working on my writing chops, so if anyone
knows of websites accepting submissions, let me know (assuming I don't
suck too much!).

Thanks!
Stacy
