Subject: Power Pop Band Makes Music for Kids!
Message-ID: <db1pm9+lp0d@eGroups.com>

Hey, Auditeers.
My band The Hipwaders will be playing a free show at the San Jose
Children's Discoverey Museum on Saturday, July 16th. As power-poppers
for over a dozen years we recently found our niche performing the same
music, however, with lyrics geared toward kids.
Will give our cd free to any Auditeer that shows up to the show!
Our cd is available through CDBaby (with every song avail to hear) -
and Bruce at Not Lame has agreed to carry our album soon. Google our
name (The Hipwaders) to see what we're about.

Thanks, Tito Uquillas

A few thoughts:

1) The Hipwaders is a great band name -- much better, in fact, than anything that contains the word "Goats".
2) Anyone who is playing power pop with lyrics tailored for kids is A-OK in my book.
3) Any group that has a bandmember named Tito is automatically cool.
4) Bonus points if you have an afro and a floppy cap, Tito.
