Actually, you don't have that much catching up to do. The original Van
Morrison-fronted Them only released two LPs and a bunch of singles, and pretty much
everything you need by them is on the 1997 double-disc anthology "The Story
of Them featuring Van Morrison." I'm pretty sure it's still in print.
BTW, after Van went solo, there were two different spinoff Them lineups, each
of which recorded under that name (one was also known as the Belfast
Gypsies). A lot of that stuff was reissued in the U.K. last year and some of it's
cool, but it's the Morrison-era stuff that's essential.
