Per Jeff's request, details about The Oohs opening for Asia are now posted

It was a blast - well-received by both the audience and by Asia's
bassist/vocalist John Payne who was extremely complimentary...and yes, I met
Geoff Downes (be still my closeted prog-rock heart), and we had a nice chat
about keyboards...
It's been a fun weekend thus far, to be sure - albeit dampened a bit by the
losses of Luther Vandross and The Four Tops' Obie Benson...but my question
to "anybody out there" that saw it - how was Pink Floyd at Live 8?
