I wonder if it was the same for you in the US and UK. But here in Denmark 
the UK/Berlin and Rome shows sounded so much better than Philadelphia and 
Barrie !!

The lowest being Motley Crue.....

I think my highlight of the Live 8 coverage was the interview with Sir Paul 
McCartney, wherein he says that today was the first time "Sgt Pepper's 
Lonely Hearts Club Band" has been performed live.  When in fact, he's played 
it often enough that it turns up on two of his live albums...
