I LOVE THEM!!!!!
Ok, but FOW is probably always in my top 5 bands no matter what mood
I'm in, and I used to request Swirl 360 all the time on my husbands
3am free for all on Tucson's top 40 station.... So thats cool.
And someone else mentioned that they have traces of Evan and Jaron -
another one of my favorites. I hear that as well.
And I could really care less who they opened for or are going to open
for. I'm well out of the *NSync closet by now. I've got The
Backstreet Boys on my zen. Honestly, I love commercial top 40 pop, so
long as it has harmonies, hooks, and melodies and doesn't have much or
any of hip hop type elements. So Ashlee Simpson? I don't know much
about how well she can sing or sync live, but I sure as heck love her
slick produced singles.
If that makes me "uncool" so be it. I don't need to be hipper than
thou or 100% indie rock. I like what I like, and I can't help it if
the backstreet boys infect my brain with their hook laden singles.
You don't have to like them if you don't want to, but I do. Just
because something cracks the top 40 or plays stadiums on tours or has
a fanbase made up of primarily 14 year old girls doesn't automatically
mean it sucks.
And hey, all the better if these Click Five play all their own
instruments, right?
Since I won't be living in NYC forever, I hope every band I love makes
it big so that when I move to middle america somewhere, I'll actually
be able to see tours since they will be able to afford to play cities
other than New York and LA!
