Just ran across this announcement on one of my online haunts, thought I'd post
it here in the event there are any keyboard players/Matt Pond PA fans on the
list...

hello.
it has been a while since we've last spoken. how have you been? you look great
- have you been working out?
* the new album has been mixed and mastered. we are very happy about this.
* unfortunately eve miller has decided to leave the band. we all still love
each other of course, but there can be such a thing as too much touring, and eve
decided it was time to move on.
* so we are currently looking for someone to join the band. ideally we want
someone who plays both a classical string instrument (cello being ideal of
course, but viola or violin can work well too) and keyboards. we really want
someone who would be into playing keyboards on a decent number of songs - not
just 1 or 2 during a set... we'd also consider someone who just plays
keyboards.
we're looking for someone who is serious about becoming a committed member of
the band. we're looking to release the new album this fall andwe will be doing
a lot more touring in support of this album than we ever have, hopefully this
will include european touring. It will definitely include a lot of US touring.
and drinking.
since we all live in new york someone who lives here, or within a reasonable
distance of the city, would make the most sense. if this sounds like something

us as much as you think we need to know about yourself, your musical background,
and why you might want to join our band. also, please forward this to anyone
