hey everyone,

we trouble dolls have been hibernating for a few months, but we're
waking up this week for a couple of nyc gigs we want to let everyone
know about.

on wednesday afternoon, we're playing at the virgin megastore in union
square to support the extremely worthwhile anti-poverty efforts of the
ONE campaign (http://www.one.org). some fairly big names are playing
later in the day (full deets below).

and on thursday night, we'll be the sidewalk cafe on avenue A for our
yearly (or so) gathering of all of the bands connected to the late great
nyc grrrlpower band bionic finger. nan turner (who currently sings for
TWO of nyc's best pop bands, schwervon and pantsuit) is singing solo at
7:30, the domestics are on at 8:30, and we play at 10.

love to see some of you at one or both...

p.s. stop hating on ashlee simpson! y'all are mental. "in pieces" and
"la la" were two of the most insanely great pop tracks of 2004. and,
yes, they were manufactured. as is all pop, and all music. this stuff
doesn't grow on trees!
