Speaking of Elliott Randle, right after the first Steeley Dan LP came out (late 1972), I went to see Sha Na Na at Constitution Hall in DC. Vinny Taylor (the Sha Na Na guitarist) had recently OD'd on heroin, and lo and behold, Elliott Randle was handling guitar (temporarily). I was sitting in the front row directly across from Elliott and when He was introduced I yelled out "Reelin' In The Yaers", to which he gave me a big thumbs up.

By the way, whoever recommended the AVION CD (ex-Tories), thanks a lot.I really like the CD.
