When it comes to the Replacements, pop-friendliest does not necessarily mean
best. You would likely want to stay away from the earliest records, they
are pretty punky and kind of ragged. As they evolved, they developed a more
rootsy sound. I would try out any of the following three; Let It Be, Tim,
or Pleased To Meet Me. All of the Matz records have some good stuff, but I
think these are the most consistent and enjoyable.
Let It Be contains, "I Will Dare" which remains one of my all-time favorite
songs.

OK folks - this is a band someone told me I would enjoys, I see some of
their earlier stuff is on eMusic, so I should probably investigate. If any
of you are fans of this band, how would you rank their albums (from
pop-friendliest to least poppiest)?
