I haven't heard much talk on this list about the "Getting the Knack" DVD! I finally picked this up last week, and have watched it 2 x now. What a great DVD! This is really a well done package covering the complete history of the Knack and really telling a good story about how they came to be and how the events unfolded that made them become one of the biggest acts in the world, and then 6 months later, ridiculed to the point of near destruction. Great story, rare live footage, fantastic interviews....just a super super package! I highly recommend this to everyone here!
Seemed interesting to me The Knack and Klaatu....both Capital Label bands, both start with the letter K, both careers quite nicely wrecked by....Bobby Columby! Coincidence? I think not.... He hates the letter K!
