I really like the album. "Can't Behave is the best song there, but there's some
other solid stuff. She reminds me of Merrill Bainbridge and Donna Lewis, albeit
with a little more bite, but she REALLY reminds me of Danielle Brisebois, which
is a good thing in my world.

Her bio calls her a "20-something," which inevtiably means she's at least 28.

>I caught the tail-end of Leno tonight and saw Courtney Jaye performing a song
called "Can't Behave" and was really impressed. So I had to go find out more
about her..

After looking into it, I think some of the audities members would enjoy her
stuff, so you can check out a couple of songs at
http://www.myspace.com/courtneyjayemusic, including "Can't Behave" which was
co-written by Gary Louris of The Jayhawks. Other collaborators on the disc
include Matthew Sweet, Rusty Anderson and Veruca Salt's Nina Gordon. The other
clip on the myspace page reminds me a little of Kim Fox.

Anyone know more about her? <
