I'm kind of in the same boat....just kind of an "eh?" reaction. First
listen I definately was not impressed. Subsequent listens have allowed it
to grow a little bit, but not enough that I anticipate I'll be coming back
to it much over the course of the next several months.

In interviews, they have indicated this was a quick one, a "write it in the
studio in the morning, record it in the afternoon" kind of affair. I'm sure
that involves throwing out bits and pieces of each others unfinished efforts
that they had been stockpiling for awhile. There are a few strong songs,
but as a whole it just doesn't sound like a cohesive work. Not to mention
that IMO several of the songs just don't reach the bar that Auer &
Stringfellow have established for themselves, both individually and
collectively.
