Okay, I know, there were no power-poppers on tonight...but did anyone else happen to watch it?  God, of the bunch, I thought Irene Cara sounded the WORST...AND she was the only one blatantly trying to use her 10 minutes of screen time to hype herself (the world premiere of her band, Hot Caramel?  PLEASE!)...but she STILL managed to win the audience vote.  On the whole, I was really rooting for Howard Jones...but I guess he was too mellow to score the audience vote.
