I can't believe I'm going to do this, but I've got to defend Loverboy who,
by all definitions of what a one-hit wonder is, weren't.

They had nine Top40 hits on Billboard. Their Top10 hit, "Turn Me Loose", in
Canada only got to #35 in the US. And the song they performed on the show
"Working For The Weekend", only hit #29 on Billboard.

So...if they were only supposed to be playing their one "hit"...it would
have had to be "Lovin' Every Minute Of It" or "This Could Be The Night"
which both hit #9 and #10 on the Billboard chart respectively.

Also...I'm noticing here that A Flock Of Seagulls and The Knack both had
three Top40 hits.

And what was C.C. Peniston doing on the first show....she never charted as a
solo artist.

Ha! I run circles around you logically :-)
