I am a long-time Knack fan and while I was skeptical about tuning into this show, it was simply to see The Knack. I thought "Sharona" was just ok (short version, no solo) and the Jet cover made me wince. Great song, but it was just not working for them.
I watched the others perform and felt my skin crawl throughout. Although I did think Tommy Tutone was ok (on his song anyway). The rest was just horrid (IMO).
I also thought that many of the acts looked like they were miming, but I wasn't sure due to the headache-inducing camera angles (man, am I getting old).
And Vanilla Ice? Word to your mutha bad.
