If you read the Pitchfork review ,they took various foreign female singers
who were unfamiliar to the material.Whether that is true or not, listening
to sound clips there is a considerable charm at play here.I am not sure if I
am ready to purchase it yet.But I especially enjoy the Dead Kennedy's
take.They gave it a smokey live club sound, which really adds something.I
will definitely take this any day over the Anka disc.
