Saw this tidbit on MySpace, so I thought I'd post it here...

Record Release Party, Saturday June 18th at the Knitting Factory in
Hollywood....

$10/adv-$12/door

Plastic Letters featuring: Peter Case (Nerves/Plimsouls), Jack Lee (Nerves),
Eddie Munoz (Plimsouls), and Nikki Corvette

This set will include songs from the newly released album by Plastic
Letters: Don't tell your boyfriend, as well as a set of Nerves, Plimsouls, Beat, and
Nikki Corvette songs

Forgive me for not being up on the ins and outs of Angeleno musical relationships, but I take it that the existence of this band means that Jack Lee didn't take personally the slice of character assassination Peter Case aimed at him on the Plimsouls' *Kool Trash*, "Playing With Jack".

Nice, too, to see that the name of the new band is apparently an homage to the original band of *Kool Trash*-era Plimsoul Clem Burke.
