Goofy thing was, "What I Like About You" wasn't the first song from the
post-Bomp Nemperor/CBS debut that radio was flogging hard in 1980. That honor
went to "When I Look In Your Eyes." At least around Hartford, CT.
I will say that cover bands picked up a lot earlier on "What I Like About You".
