Subject melting ice

I predicted Vanilla Ice would win but not on quality ( imo...screaming rap-metal) more for the fact that rap has crossed all boundaries and has permeated pop culture AND that song is *one* of the first mainstream crossovers. 
Ice Ice Baby (or whatever it is called) is right up there with Proud Mary as the most requested songs at receptions ,company parties,etc. The only thing I have seen requested more ,in my admittedly limited experience,is Run DMC-It's Tricky and that is probably more because of the scene in Roadtrip.
I agree about the short attention span camera edits but found the Beatle-on-Ed Sullivan-like screaming audience members more irritating.
Now did he always have the accompanying hip-hop dancer or is that a new addition now that he is unable to perform as actively as he once did?
The show delivered little but I wasn't expecting much to begin with.
