I understand the irony... Believe me... But to me the most important thing
is to feel good about your own actions. For me, I feel perfectly fine
download mp3s via a newsground or from allofmp3.com, because if I like a
song or two, I almost always buy the CD. Also I go to great effort to still
order from the band, and to purchase CDs from little companies like notlame
and independent labels. All I can control is myself, and if everyone bought
as many cds as I do (about $600 a month) I don't think it would be an issue,
but then again, all I can do is be true to myself. What other people think
of me is none of my business.

I have found that most times when people are furious about you "ripping off
an artist" that what they are really angry with is themselves. If they were
comfortable with their own actions they wouldn't be so upset. Kind of the
old "one hand on the bible" syndrome lol.
