Well, I don't know Bob, and I may not know Jack, either (!), but Jack seems
to be endless Springsteen and U2, and I can't say I've ever really liked
that stuff very much. I'd rather listen to the oldies' station playlist of
Beach Boys, 4 Seasons, Tommy James, etc. It is a lot like an ipod because
there's not even a disc jockey, which annoys me. If there were a disc jockey
it would at least give an illusion of personality. The motto "We play what
we want" comes off pretty unconvincing when "we" is a faceless, nameless
monolith.
