Has it already been mentioned
that....
(a) Brian supposedly wrote "Don't Worry, Baby" for Ronnie Spector
(hopefully so as to complete her "Be My Baby" / "Baby, I Love You"
trifecta),
(b) Brian -- or should I say the many moody Murry? -- wouldn't turn over its
publishing
from Sea of Tunes to Mother Bertha Music, so....
(c) Phil wouldn't record it (so Brian cut it with HIS Boys)
(d) "You" was written by George as the follow-up to Ronnie's "Try Some Buy
Some" Apple
single, and its track was cut immediately following the "All Things Must
Pass"
sessions, circa very early 1971, but....
(e) Phil returned to the USA to work with John & Yoko, so....
(f) George cut his own (QUITE out of his range, imho) vocal, and released it
right round
the same time that....
(g) Keith Moon cut HIS (ABSOLUTELY out of his range) version of "Don't Worry
Baby,"
produced (well, sort of) by doomed ex-Beatle roadie Mal Evans.
Don't exactly know what ANY of this has to do with Phil Spector's latest
frightwig,
but......
(h) Gary "vividly remembers suggesting Lisa Mychols cut "You" too ....all
those years ago"
