It's a scam. They send you money orders for an amount much higher than the purchase price, and ask you to remit the difference. The money orders turn out to be fakes.
One of the victims wrote up her experience in a recent issue of Washington, DC, "City Paper". The con artist--or at least someone with an identical prose style--also makes wildly inflated offers on merchandise listed in classified ads.

Hello. Has anyone heard of Price benz? I received an email from them
through my CD baby account asking to purchase 600 Jam On Jeremy CDs.
They misspelled a few words. I just dont know about this. Here is the
letter.
THIS EMAIL WAS SENT FROM SOMEONE CLICKING YOUR PAGE ON CD BABY. CD
BABY DOES NOT NECESSARILY KNOW, ENDORSE, OR RECOMMEND ANY BUSINESS

alst offer for this i expect a discount since i am buying in large

dont take risk,he will come for the pick up immediately payment is
made.
