I definitely experienced the feeling that I was the oldest guy in the room
when I went to see The Rapture about a year ago here in Philadelphia. I am
48, and while I have been told that I appear younger than I am, most of the
crowd was in their 20's and there was no way I was going to be mistaken for
someone that age.

Before The Rapture came on, I was standing around talking with some friends
when a woman approached us and appeared to be looking for someone. When she
got closer, she made a beeline for me and asked "Sir, do you know where the
rest rooms are"? Being polite, I promptly pointed out their location.
After she left, the topic of the conversation focused on the reasons she
seemed to think I would be the person to ask such a question. Some of my
friends were polite and made some lame excuses such as "Hey, maybe she
thought you owned the club" or "she must think you are part of security".
Of course, what was going through my mind was that she needed to find a
bathroom quickly, and hey...that guy looks old...I bet he has bladder
control problems...I bet HE knows where the bathrooms are....
