Yep: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0367594/fullcredits
> One interesting use of a song in film occurred during Cameron Crowe's Vanilla Sky. In the "strangling scene" towards the end Todd Rundgren's "Can We Still Be Friends" is playing. Then the scene changes and the song abruptly stops. If you know the song you're left with the next few lines echoing in your head: "we awoke from our dream, things are not always as they seem...", quite a clue to the remainder of the show.
You know, I didn't catch that. Crowe's a smart guy and, of course, knows his
pop music, so that makes a lot of sense. Can't say I much like the remake,
however. The Spanish original is way better.
