Does anyone know where I can find more information about Will Kimbrough, ie
what CDs does he have out (solo or with band(s)) and how can I buy them? I
love his CD "This", but never ventured any further until I recently found
"Blunderbuss" from his Will & The Bushmen days, for a mere 33 cents in the
bargain bin. I can't find any Will K on the internet.
The W&TB CD is good in parts, but not nearly in the same league as "This"
IMO (tho I must say I get a kick out of the lyrics to "Moosehead" - "there
is a moose head, it hangs on the wall - you and i were lovers, and he'd seen
it all"...!) The best song on W&TB is probably the title track, which was
of course (co)written by Brad Jones, their producer.
And I prefer Brad's version. Now there's one excellent album - "Giltflake".
Dusted it off yesterday and was overwhelmed - I had forgotten how really
good the entire CD is, from beginning to end. He never put out another CD,
has he? What a shame. Great songs, great voice, great production - I don't
get it...
