This has been on in the UK for the past few weeks. It's the final
tonight, the contestants sing one of their own songs and then their
interpretation of a modern pop hit. Tonights finalists are Tiffany(!),
Shakin' Stevens, Carol Decker (from T'Pau), Hue & Cry, Shalamar and
Chesney Hawkes. Apparently the winner gets to release a double A side
single.
It's on at the same time as the Eurovision Song Contest though so it's
a pretty cheesy night on British television tonight.
