Sorry, Chuck, but I have to chime in on this one:
The song in question is in the key of C minor. Stevie's aside was not such a
dramatic deviation as he played "Mary Had a Little Lamb" in the key of C
major and then trilled the #9 of that chord as the band joined him again.
This was not "wrong", but witty. In short, he knew what he was doing and
therefore I have a hard time considering this a "bum note".
