Often the bum notes are what make a song, giving it its charm. Mistakes made 
in the studio can give a song a totally different dimension than it would 
otherwise have. With today's digital recording, it's far too easy to cobble 
together vocal and instrumental takes, draining them of their life. I don't 
blame the technology, it's what's done with it.
