hah.

i'm 25 - just turned. i may be weird in the fact i started in on music
early perhaps regardless of the fact my parents are very
on-the-surface music appreciators. it starterd on beach boys in 5th
grade, beatles a little later (6th? middle school) and by the end of
middle school, it was more rock/punk/indie - weezer, nirvana, and a
lot of the 90s alt revolution - which brought me to sonic youth,
pixies, and more.

but i found the smithereens in 8th grade BECAUSE of nirvana, and
theyve been my favorite band ever since.

and yeah - its weird being the oldest OR youngest at a show. i wasnt
the youngest like i thought i would be when i saw brian wilson years
ago, but definitely was for one of the reens shows.

weird.

oh and i've never gotten how these country stars keep writing about
the same crap over and over. i guess the same way love songs get
written over and over.

i dont like it when pop stars OR any other kind of musicians get by
with their looks. ug.

although i know it helps. ;)
